The library is located in the Education Building of Lutheran School of Nursing. The library hours are posted on the bulletin board outside the library entrance for each week.     PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, can access over eleven million citations.
     

  • Clinical Evidence: www.clinicalevidence.com

    Clinical Evidence is a directory. The site covers 134 conditions. The site does require a subscription.
     

  • National Guideline Clearinghouse: www.guidelines.gov

    This is a comprehensive database.
     

  • Cochrane Collaboration: http://www.cochrane.org

    This is a database of systematic reviews. This site does require a subscription, but nonmnbers may access the reviews. 
     

  • HONselect: www.hon.ch/HONselect

    Health On the Net (HON) is a foundation devoted to providing reliable and authoritative information to both health professionals and consumers. 
     

  • Medical Matrix: http://www.medmatrix.org

    This site is devoted to posting and providing access to internet medical resources.
     

  • Free Medical Journals: http://www.freemedicaljournals.com

    This site provides access to the full text of some medical journals.

    This is a site developed by The Center for Disease Control.

    This site provides a search engine and directories. Medscape does require registration.
